Come join your fellow members of the New England Region as we close out our official 2004 season (assuming we're not covered with snow) on a nice Sunday morning drive (NEW ROUTE). To be followed immediately by a complimentary brunch at Ferrari Maserati of New England, with a live viewing of the Grand Prix of Brazil on the big-screen TV. FoNE is also offering FREE TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS and CAR WASHES, but space is very limited, and you must pre-register! If you can't make the drive, please plan on arriving at Ferrari Maserati of New England at noon for bunch and the tech session. YOU MUST RESERVE A SPACE for the tech session and car wash - please call Allison at FoNE, 617-559-0123 to save a spot! For the morning drive, we'll meet at 9:30 a.m., right off of Rt. 128/I-95, at the Sheraton Needham parking lot, 100 Cabot Street [this is the Highland Ave. exit off 95, head East, first right onto 1st St. then first left onto Cabot - just follow the Sheraton signs], for a nice, back roads drive and a bombing run back to Ferrari Maserati of New England for lunch. We'll be using Motorola (FRS) radios on the drive, so bring one if you have one (channel 3, code 8), and make sure you've filled your gas tank! If you're planning on attending the drive, or if you have any questions, please send an email to Dennis Liu, Massachusetts Chapter President, at [email protected]. Laurie and I are planning on coming with our new (to us) and first Ferrari - thanks to Dennis who talked us into buying this thing............ we will try to meet for the 9:30 drive, but with house guests, it may be tough...... What is the tech session going to be about? (trying to gauge if i can keep up or if its revelant to our car...) thanks andy
Man, I've been hoping to make something with the local gang all year, but Sunday my family will be visiting from Canada, then I have to fly to London that evening...
We have a 95 355 challange car. One of the ones that the Tommy Hilfigner group (L Stroll??) put together. I'll try to post a pic if i can figure out how andy Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow beautiful 355 challenge. id love to get a close look at that at the show! congrats on getting it.
Does My Wife like riding in it???? LOL!!!! She better......i t's her's and she presently holds 2 seperate track records at New Hampshire International in SCCA racing...... Of course, our history has been sournded with 911's......so although this is a fantasy.....we are still nervous of this thing.....our 911's are so relieable, fast, handle and stop...... don't youall get your hopes up that this car is a looker, remember, this is a real challenge car and lord knows that these cars have some......"experience"........... We do think the car actually is in pretty good shape, or at least Dennis thinks so....... So being we don't have any headlights on it yet, i'm gonna borrow a repair plate so we can make this weekend......... andy
I'll be the one wearing the new Ferrari/PUMA samples for next year. You won't miss me wearing F1 team red sneakers, poloshirt, Hat and raincoat. Theo
I'll be the one wearing the ratty old tee shirt, dirty pants and shoes with holes in them.............looking to mug the guy with the new cool stuff........ LOL!!!!! andy

many thanks to bighead dennis for putting this event together. what a turnout! i ended up at the end of the line when we left 109/27 and between stoplights, turns, and a semi on 109, i knew i'd lost y'all completely - so i just hit 495N when i came to it on 109. i figured at least i'd beat the crowd and get some grub before it ran out! . i brought my camera but took no pictures. yes, i'm a dope. i did see a number of folks snapping away though - hopefully they'll post some nice shots of the crew. great to meet all the new faces! i'm not about 100 miles closer to the end of my break-in miles nightmare..... thanks! doody.
i took 224 pics. theyll be up in a few hours, uploading them is a major pain. which CS was your doody, red w/ or w/o stripe. and then did u see there was a silver one in the back of the service center
Laurie and I just got home and wanted to thank all of you for making our first F-car event and first road rally a real blast!!! So yea, it does appear that the only way I can drive a car is with a cement barrier all the way around the road so I wont get lost .but at least I was able to consume about ½ of Denniss monthly minutes for his cell .we also want to thank everyone we met for making us feel at home, and apologize for those who we didnt have enough time to meet or spend time with ..but we look forward to the next event, when we will. Again, it was great meeting youall and thanks for the awesome time Andy & Laurie The newly deaf F car owners Ps-- Someone please take the guy in the Corvette out and buy him all the beer he can drink and send me the bill, for Im sure that will cost less than the ticket he got, by jumping on that grenade for me!!! Pss- No-one needs to buy Dennis any beer for getting us out of the second ticket, cause he can talk the spots off a leopard.
Seemed like it was a good time had by all, thanks Dennis for organizing another great event! Doody, the car is BEAUTIFUL. You know how much I loved your 550, but the CS was definitely worth parting with it. Thanks to FoNE and everyone involved for a great time. Tom & Linda
