Good seeing the usual gang... I missed some of you, but I did get a chance to say hello to Carbon. Image Unavailable, Please Login
He is from California and he owns three F cars. He drives them hard. 308GTS w/250,000+ miles on it, 355GTS w/90,000+ and this Blue (Special order) F430 that he ordered to use on the track.
When was this event? The F40 with the Florida plates was in Toronto last Sunday May 28/06 for a FCA Concours. You can see my pics here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107578 The gentleman who owns it is retired and likes to travel to Ferrari events. At Palm Beach Cavallino Classic on Jan. 21/06 this car won a Preservation Award and a Class Award. He also has a 348 race car. Only 3000 miles on the F40 he got it with about 300 mi. It was a real treat to have it at our concours in Canada. Chris

haha, I actually posted up outside the event (around the bend, a little down from the entrance) and recorded some shoddy video with my digicam...got some nice exhaust notes from a 308! Much better note than the 360 Modena that was tailing it! Did get another Modena's note though, sounded nice as it inched its way on the gravel pathway. Let me know if you want them, I can e-amil them to you.
had to add these since no one had posted any shots of our mid-restoration 500 Mondial - 0556(0446)MD - that was parked at the top of the hill. second shot - the nose of our 365GT2+2 next to the Mondial at the end of the day. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
By any chance was the 308 red coupe followed by a yellow modena coupe. If so that was me and my son in the 308 and a friend and his son in the modena. Anyway I could get a copy. PM me and I'll send you my regular e-mail.
I was going to ask what that was. You can see a little of it in the background of another pic. Did you have to have any metal work done? It looks to be in fantastic shape now if you did. Can't wait to see the finished product.
I really like those shots of the restoration body Is this a good place to post track shots from this weekend?
Fantastic pics all of you ... thanks so much ... Some more of that lovely 288 GTO will be highly appreciated
