The Durango weekend isn’t a driving event, it’s about flying in on a Friday spending a day on the narrow gauge, historic train between Durango and Silverton, or one of the other winter routes… a group dinner on Saturday and flying back out on Sunday

I led an owners rally once from Telluride down to Durango, and then back north through Silverton, Ouray, back into telluride… one of my favorite drives we’ve done.

….next time we’re hanging out, remind me to tell you the story of one of my pre-drives for the above, really, and a shortcut I was gonna take.
