It will be my first one, though I'm flying in Saturday night, so will be carless. Really looking forward to it.

Just finished loading the transporter and sent the driver on his way to Wisconsin! Cars on transporter are a 250 Lusso, 330 GTS, 246 GTS, 328 GTS, GTB Turbo, and 430 Scuderia. Tomorrow we will load up our track cars - 458 Challenge and Radical SR3 for the 15 hour drive to Road America. Can't wait to catch up with old friends and make new ones over the next week.

Better get used to it if you’re shipping your cars around. Just wait till they ask you to help load, particularly on the upper deck of a liftgate with a stick and a touchy clutch!

 

What VIN and year for the 246 Glenn? I used to have one and wonder if it's the same car. See you soon. I ll be doing the registration table on Sunday.

Apparently I got the full preview, as on this one I drove it personally for 5 attempts to load with many of those involving snapped and/or cracked boards…

 

Glenn…I am glad to see the 330 GTS is going to be there. That’s the car I grew up with. My Dad bought the car in 1972 from the Wyeth family. I was 18 when my Dad let me drive it. He offered it to me when I graduated with an engineering degree a few years later. I turned him down and decided a GTC was a better fit for me.

 

Wow the color on that 330 GTS is amazing! Looking forward to seeing that one !

 

Anyone know what the policy is for spectators this year? Do not see anything on the website. Thanks.

 

There is only one event that is Open to the Public: the street display of cars in Elkhart Lake. All other events require being a registered/ticketed event participant.

Bruce is right, the Dino is 04004. It used to be my personal car before I sold it to a friend last year.

Steve, your families 330 GTS is in good hands and it is probably the best driving GTC/GTS that I have ever driven. We prepped it for Copa Bella Machina, so everything is working -- at least right now!

Glenn was the CBM judge for my 612 at Scottsdale. Then I was able to join him and others for the Dino ride to Sedona.

Looking forward to catching up. Tricia and I are in Deerfield, IL. Will be at Osthoff this afternoon.

 

Will anything be going on in Elkhart Lake this afternoon? I have about an hour to kill so I'll be passing through.

And it was quite the surprise when I got out of the truck and felt the brisk low 40’s air… Coming from Texas heat.

I am currently waiting for a tow along 41. Lost all clutch pressure. Hopefully I can get it ripped apart, diagnosed, and get parts for it to get it all back together in time to get it there for at least a couple days. Can't find any leaks so I'm leaning toward a throwout bearing. Disappointing, but could be worse I suppose. Image Unavailable, Please Login
