I registered for FCA Charlotte today. I've been to two FCA Nationals, Corning (NY)/Watkins Glen in 2018 and Mont-Tremblant (Quebec) in 2022. With rooms at the HQ hotels well above $300/night, FCA Nationals are $4,000 events for two people/five nights.

Corning was an easy drive from Annapolis (285 miles/5 hours) and a really nice event; worth the money. Mont-Tremblant was a longish drive (650 miles/11 hours) and not so much. Charlotte kind of splits those distances at 425 miles/7 hours. I drove there for a Shelby Club national event in an original 427 S/C Cobra--in July. Ugh.

MAR had a caravan of cars driving together to Corning and Mont-Tremblant. Maybe someone will organize one for Charlotte.

Our Mid-Atlantic Region last hosted an FCA National in 2014. Monsoon-like rain created some problems.

I was slow and got waitlisted. With the uncertainty decided to stay out west so cancelled.
