There's an FCA Concours event at Boardwalk Ferrari tomorrow, Oct 10 from 10-2. This show is Ferrari only, and there will be some exceptional cars there. It's open to the public.

If you weren't already aware of it, you should plan to attend. You'll likely see some things you've never seen before.

I'm excited. Having experienced Monterey Car Week just two months ago, I'm expecting something similar.

I've been to a lot of car shows over the years, but I've never seen a show to equal this one from a Ferrari perspective.

Great job Shawn and the FCA volunteers, and a huge THANK YOU to Boardwalk for sponsoring and hosting. I'm amazed that they fed the huge masses of people and still had a private retreat for the participating FCA members. It was a great getaway with less noise and some cool things to see.

For those that missed it, you didn't see 3 LaFerraris, 3 Enzos, a 599XX Evo, an F50, an F40, and 2 288GTO's. In all my years of being a Tifosi, I've only seen 1 GTO. Today, there were 2. Awesome. The gray/red Enzo is 1 of 1 in the world. It's stunning.

My old beater got strategically placed next to a 488. An old V8 and a new V8.

What an enjoyable event. Boardwalk and the FCA really knocked it out of the park today. The hypercar lineup made all the memories from Pebble Beach come back...the fact that a few cars on display today (yellow 488, copper Dino, the Thomassima) were in Pebble Beach helped with that. :) The 488 Spider is also stunning in that shade of blue.

HUGE thanks to the FCA and the team at Boardwalk for organizing this.

The 288 with the #1 on the door has over 60,000 miles and I was told it is a 1 owner car.

I did not look at it too close but Bob Smith told me it was in great condition.

Your details are correct. It has the period cell phone installed on the center tunnel and 80's speakers mounted on the rear deck. The owner drove it to the show. A true tifosi!

By the way, Listening to a 599XX Evo has to be one of life's great pleasures....

Texans Restore One-of-a-Kind Thomassima II Italian Supercar | eBay Motors Blog

Basically, it's a Cooper race car chassis with a Ferrari 250 GT V12 linked to a ZF 4 speed made to look like a 330 P4, with inspiration from some other period Italian cars (the removable windows and hardtop were a Maserati trait). Quite beautiful if you ask me.

The showing of it yesterday was apparently only the second time it has been seen since its restoration was complete. The first was at Concorso Italiano during Car Week this year (it was also the cover car for the event program).

    Jim,

Thank you, for the kind words. I am so glad you came out and enjoyed it. We wanted to do something a LITTLE different. We cannot thank Boardwalk Ferrari enough. They truly made this show. Given all the horror stories I hear about the FCA and the local dealerships. We are by far the luckiest group to have them. A huge thank you to the planning committee. These people have given up 11 months of there lives to make this event great. They did that and then some. I also want to thank All the volunteers that registered for the event then worked it and made it run smoothly. This is a group effort and we could not do it without each of you. THANK YOU!!

Hopefully Boardwalk will go back to inviting other exotics as they have in the past. It's a great show.

It's not my shot, it's an edit of one Pantea Pourabbas took. I don't want to take undue credit.

He caught it quickly. The owner of the old car was much less observant.....
