...as the track announcer noted, we were "hitting on all one cylinders"!

don't worry about it, I was just trying to get a rough count. We're at a little more than 20 right now.
I think we're at 25 now. That's not counting those that just show up or those that registered, but have a change of plans.
Has FMoD informed their customers of the show? I know several cars from FoD were shown at Italian Carfest last fall. They may show again, especially since it's so close!
I'm giving Chet a day of rest, but will call him tomorrow as I want to make sure everyone is invited, FCA membership not required. However, if you have a good time and want to get more involved I recommend getting a FCA membership. FCA membership will be required for the Poker Run.
I just entered as I should be available on Saturday. What time do I bring in the car? What time can I take the car? Does entrants stays there for all those hours there? Who is going to detail my car on Friday 3/12/04?
Informal arrival 10am or so. Judging won't open until Noon or so. You don't have to stick around if you don't want. Many will want to leave for lunch. If there isn't a lunch place within walking distance, we can probably take a group order for food and send someone for it. Not me.
Rob, thanks for the quick reply. I guess I have to do it myself then..... (still don't know how to use those smiley face!)
I'm usually pretty conservative with my estimates, but this thing is getting out of control. If the weather is nice and we get everyone that's checked in we're already up to 32 or so. This will easily be our largest FCA DFW event since the reemergence of the chapter. Of course we could handle a hundred cars, if we needed. A few good vintage Ferraris and Maseratis too.
The show will happen rain or shine though, the cars won't melt. If muddy we'll hold on the large pavement area vs. the grass lawn.
says now down to 30%, maybe it will just rain on Friday. I will be there with my wife and best friend of 23 years...huge Ferrari fan. he is coming up from H-town. See you guys there...
I just met with Chet and we walked around and discussed everything. This is really going to be a great event! I'm not even doing much work for it, I just advertised it and got some trophies. What's really making it nice is Chet/Mr. Risi allowing us to use their facilities. The lawn is going to be perfect. It could hold 70 cars if we needed to and it's perfectly dry and green right now (cross your fingers between now and then). Chet is getting several of the special Ferraris out for everyone to see and tours of the showroom and shop will also be available. He's even going to set up movies in the media room. If you have some cool Ferrari DVD's, please bring them. I'll set up a registration table at the entrance to the lawn. We'll have people directing you where to park. If the lawn is muddy, then there's plenty of pavement for the show. If it rains, then for those with cars that melt Chet can provide some inside cover. Let me know if any questions.
I saw your familys car when it was still at FoD last year. Very nice! It will be in good company. I'll have the 355 C out and there are at least two factory 348 Challenge cars signed up. I can't wait to see your 330 GTC. Did you buy the yellow once that was at FoD last year?
