Chance of rain has gone from 25% to 50% last night and is now back down to 20%. If the weather person is always wrong, I guess they should say 100%.

Looking pretty good for now. Remember, event will be held rain or shine. If rain, then we can get some of the cars inside.

    Haha, good memory!

We ended up purchasing a Red/Tan/Black '66 330GTC up in New York. Great car to drive!

The event is open for public visitors right? I want to confirm this....even though I don't own a Ferrari (yet), I'd love to attend to view some works of art. I'll probably be driving in the cheapest car at that show, a 2002 BMW 325i Sedan.

Yes, open to the public and free. Just $20 per car for entrants.

My daily driver is a 1993 325is. I wish I had the E46. You rich guy!

LoL...rich guy!? Please! I'm a poor 19 year old college student that works 25 hours a week @ Sunglass Hut to pay for my car. BTW, I'm taking 15 credit hours at school so my schedule is booked. Its hard for me to NOT be a Ferrari enthusiast seeing that I drive by FoD everyday to either go to school or to work. I'm dying to see a Enzo or the new 612S. I loved the one @ the Dallas Auto Show!

I think the 612 is already gone to another city and I doubt we'll have an Enzo. They do have a 333, F40, and F50 around though. One F40 entered too.

When I watched the weather report tonight, they said there are two jet streams battling each other this weekend. The first hits tomorrow with rain lasting until prob Sat morning, then lets up, as the second one hits later in the afternoon with rain. So, we might hit a clean window there possibly.

Well, the weather has flipped again and now looks like rain is inevitable. I'm just going to expect some light rain and if it clears up, then great. I think even if it rains, there will still be dry breaks to check out the cars without an umbrella. It might scare a couple of the vintage cars away, although I notified everyone that Chet will have some indoor parking available. I've found rain spots to be easily removed with just a California duster. Although driving in heavy rain and mud causes a little more to be cleaned.

Trophies will be given out no matter what. :)

My car does not melt, I've tested it in monsoon weather. I'll be there. The car will be wet. It gets wet when I wash it too.

I'm goin' rain or shine. The way i look at it, i have a better chance of winning some prizes in in the rain if all the scared wankers don't show up. ;)

Just jokin' guys... See ya bright and early.

Well, I just drove back from Houston to Dallas, and it was raining from about Madisonville to Ennis, but stopped just south of town. Maybe it will somehow miss the Plano area.....

I'm glad the threat of rain isn't scaring everyone off. It's about 9:00 and all looks pretty dry at the moment. The show is on, and thanks in advance to everyone planning to attend.

It was good to see the old crew again after such a long break. Some great looking cars out there. Hopefully, I'll be able to make a get-together or two....in less than a year's space!

    Regards,
    Chris.

    Welcome back Chris.

Brian, do you have a special lens on your camera? The pics look a little 'fish eye'. Cool effect.

What color was the Stradale? Talk about bright Red!

I fell in love with the Grigio Ingrid 575. Damn, that car was gorgeous.

Congrats Jerry on the big 80's win! All the hard work has paid off. Also congrats to the Links, a clean sweep for all 3 cars!
