Second Tuesday Outing Tuesday, Oct 11, 2005 We're invading SpeedZone again this month to play on the slick tracks, dragsters and F1 racers. SpeedZone is located on I-35 at the Walnut Hill Road Exit, approximately 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas and 2 minutes south of I-635 (LBJ Freeway). Head west on Walnut Hill Road and drive about 1/10th of a mile.Turn right onto Malibu Drive. SpeedZone will be 1/10th of a mile down on the right at 11130 Malibu Drive. Yikes, I forgot tomorrow was second tuesday and I made plans with John(Futureowner) Suarez to have beers in Fort Worth tomorrow night around 9pm. I was gonna post it tomorrow to see if anybody wanted to join us around 9 at the Library in downtown FTW (dollar beers!) I would have been late to Second Tuesday as usual, I have to be in Arlington until 8:30 anyway. Not trying to compete with 2nd Tuesday, honest!
Aww Hell, I asked him to go have some beers with me awhile back but he told me he was going back to New Orleans. I get no respect.
Low turnout, but there was no wait for any of the tracks. The place was empty! We ran the slick track until we were kicked off, and then ran the turbo track until we were kicked off. I tired to explain that I was the bumpee and not the bumper, but to no avail
lol, sorry buds, I just got back into town tonight. Things in N.O. took longer than expected. Going to Oklahoma City tomorrow night, but will be back Sat. Anything in the works for Sat. or the upcoming week? First round on me!
