Hi Guys, Attached is a screen from the main menu of this years DVD. There is a full animation flying around and checking out the cars, and up close shots on the Enzo. We are finishing up a few things, and it will ship to people that pre-ordered it, for pre-holiday delivery. If you haven't ordered one, it's $30. You can PM me or call at 847-534-9000 to order. Cash, check or major CC.
Gee, you worked into the morning hours on this thing, haven't you? I like the Mythos, imagine if we had one here in town! Maybe you could mention on here who from FChat has his or her car in the video. That might help sales?
The DVD is being replicated this weekend and will begin shipping on Monday, so hopefully everybody gets it in time for the holidays! Since it is a relatively small order, discs are not going through a glass master process, instead they are being burned on 4x and 8x DVD-R burners. If anybody has any problems with their disc, please contact me at the email or phone# above. Most recent DVD players should have no problem. Let me know what you guys think! By the way, although not credited on the disc, all music except for one piece was written by me. Oh yeah, Andreas, I will include a check for the calendars with your DVD.
Since the first picture got deleted with the FChat crash, I'm reposting it...also, DVD's are available from last year which feature the F50 in 3D animation. Image Unavailable, Please Login
For those who don't have it, here is the menu from last year's DVD for the FCA sponsored Italian Car show. Either of these are available for $30. Buyers of last year's DVD can attest to it's quality! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, last year's DVD was very professionally done. Sean, any word on what you did with the Enzo and the mini camera?
Andreas, I have some footage which we shot to use for reference for modelling the car in 3D, but with the dismal amount of orders we got for this DVD (some people who were interviewed didn't even order one), we decided not to spend the resources to make ultra-detailed 3D models of the engine. At this point, I am way out of pocket on this effort. You'd think most people who attend an event would like a memento, and you'd think for sure that anybody who wanted to be interviewed would want a copy, but people are strange.
Welcome to the club my friend. I feel your pain. I have had similar experiences with folks whose car was part of the calendars but were not interested in getting a calendar where space is literally limited. Strange is the right word. You'd expect that with these cars a few bucks aren't a big deal, but just ask one of the clubs and how "easy" it is to get members and get them to pay their fees and you'd be surprised. Just don't take it personal.
Just received my copy Sean. Thank you. You did a great job on it. I also ordered the DVD "Ferrari Victory by Design". The short version just aired on Speedvision. Should be delivered this week. Dave
