    For those not aware, Friday and Saturday (25th, 26th) is the FCA meet in Limerock. It is one of those few days where you can meet up with a vast cross section of Ferraristi, see some absolutely amazing cars, and NOT feel like a concours tourist. It's one of the "must do" events on my calendar every year. I'm headed up Saturday morning. I suggest we round up the local contingent and make a day of it.

    In! I live near the MA/CT border (I-84 Sturbridge area), so count me in for the drive up Saturday a.m. if you meet up in central CT.

    i'd go, but have to race at WGI that weekend plus it seems LRP does not allow proper open wheel racing cars and regular tintops on the track at the same time. Maybe Ferrari could get more of their open wheel owners at an event so us open wheel car guys can play :)

    If you guys hang out at LRP for a few more days, may be there racing Aug 2 and 3.

    I'm prolly meeting up with UConn Husky in Bristol area and screaming out route 4. Its a MUCH nicer ride than 44 or 202. Should be in Bristol 9ish. I will estimate the time closer later. Love to hook up. PM me.

    What exactly goes on at Lime Rock? Track event only, shows? When do you guys meet around Bristol, Saturday, or Sunday or both? I am in Southington but not sure yet if this week end will be clear.

    There's nothing scheduled for Sunday. The track is closed by law. Friday and Saturday is the Ferrari club track meet. Friday will be mostly arrival and setup business. Its an unmuffled event for previously registered and licensed drivers to take their cars on the track. Check out the above link if you feel the desire to track. I go to emerse myself in the Ferrari experience. Great cars, great guys, great networking. There's no "show" but Miller motors is a sponsor and lots of very cool stuff shows up. Consider BYO as additional track services are limited. The on track stuff is an afterthought for me. It much more about the comeraderie that I have been trying so hard to build here in CT.

    We have not yet setup a meeting place in Bristol but will finalize stuff as time grows near. I'm still wanting to see a more convincing weather report.

    You guys can meet at my place in Bristol (only a few turns off the highway) and from there we can drive across town to rte 69 (awesome road, sadly used to collect speeding tax too often), that leads to rte 4 which as Lane said is a great ride to LRP. It's about 45 - 1 hr. from my place to the track. Plan B could be to meet at Starbucks in Southington on Rte 10, right off rte 84. We could take rte 10 to 4, but much more traffic and nowhere near as fun as rte 69. :D

    CORRECTION: SCCA races Aug 1 and 2, hope to see you guys there.

    LRP also has an open test day July 29, though believe you need to be a properly licensed track driver.

    Yet another spectacular day filled with great company, great cars, and great times. Never caught up with some face's I expected to see but thoroughly enjoyed my day anyway. Masslaw...nice to meet you. I hope you and the fam had as much fun as I did. Forgot my camera as usual. Jay...please post some pics.

    I'll be on vaca for a few days climbing around the majesty of Killington VT...On my return, I will start re-planning a cruise event or get together. You guys start thinking about some dates that work.

    Lane, I was called in early this morning to work and had to cancel Lime Rock. I have one of those wonderful jobs! Well let me get back to work now. Hopefully someone can post some pics. Have a great time climbing!

    No need to explain.

    When I say climbing in Killington...I mean climbing out of bed, climbing into the pool, climbing into the jacuzzi, climbing into a comfy bar stool, climbing onto the shuttle bus to take my drunk a$$ back to the hotel, and climbing back into bed. Over and over and over again. I'll be there for a few days so I expect to be fairly stupid upon return. Data dump vacations are great.

    Indeed - I only met two or three FChatters and realized once there it mightn't be so easy to connect w.everyone wandering around. Was a great morning watching a bunch of Fs rip around. Was surprised didn't see any more 3X8s on the track - just the one dark blue 308.

    Lane,

    It was a pleasure. Sorry I couldn't spend more time roaming the grounds with you. The little one was slightly cranky after the long drive and after spilling ketchup and mustard on his clothes. Despite that little setback, it was a great day. Looking forward to some CT drives this summer. BTW - very nice 348 sir!

    Sorry guys I was feeling a bit sick last night then this morning I just had no energy and couldn't wake up. I was there yesterday and had a good time. Definitely some nice cars out!! Sounds like you guys had fun today :)
