Hi everyone, The proposed FCA National Rally for 2006 is being organised by Victoria and is detailed here http://www.fcavic.com.au/tasrally06/ Tom Warwick and his team have done a fantastic job of organising it, and it is still being fine tuned as you read about it. I know we're only just about to start THIS year's rally, but forward planning is always advisable. If you've never had the pleasure of attending a National Rally in general, but one organised by Tom and crew in particular, then do yourself a big favour and start planning for it now! Regards, FCA Victorian Committee.
obviously our supreme being that is "webmaster" didn't proof read it.... maybe he's human after all.....
I'd be more worried if a BB didn't leak some oil from somewhere... it could only mean it had run out of the stuff.
The only part I don't get is............it's a VIC rally, and we're going to TAs, that's okay, but we have one of the best tracls in the world at Philip Island and we're going to Symmonds Plains. I think that part of it is a pity.
Hey Phil, I started up the 512, for the first time in 6 months and it blew smoke all over my garage. Pretty normal for a boxer. Stem seals and all that. After awhile it was fine.
Yes, it is an uninteresting goat track and tight, even for bikes. EDIT: It is the only track that makes Calder interesting by comparison.
Agree with Steve, I drove there once in 1993, I think I fell asleep, maybe it was my poor driving..... I'll make sure I take my "Mappa Tassie" to keep me entertained. I don't see why we couldn't have a track day at the Island then head off to Tasmania afterwards. Regards, Carl.
There is nothing like a full Ferrari track day at Phillip Island. With around 50 cars. I'm with you Carl, but you know certain people will get upset if we start complaining and suggesting other things. Just can't see why we can't somehow incorporate P.I into this, instead of a goat herders track. AIRCON, why don't you suggest P.I. Everybody hates you already, so no problem upsetting people.
If we can somehow, organise PI, I'll pay for a full camera crew to come and make a doco about that day.
