Good afternoon everyone! Came across another nice find, if only for a good laugh when reading through them... 100 issues of the Ferrari Club of America News Bulletin from the mid 1970's. Chronological set, only 1 or 2 issues missing. I don't have them in front of me because I'm at work, but I'll post a pic when I get home later.

I say "a good laugh" because it's incredible reading through the New Member Welcome section and seeing Ralph Lauren's information listed when he first joined FCA. Also seeing listings for Lussos, a Porsche RS-61 and more at breathtaking prices compared to modern numbers.

Anyway, I did some searching on the web to find more information about these early issues of the News Bulletin and haven't been able to find much. Couldn't find anything on Albaco either. To me, they're a snapshot of a moment in time for Ferrari history. I don't know what kind of monetary value they hold, if any.

Just wanted to get the forum's input on the desirability of this club publication. Some members might remember me as "that Porsche guy that found the Cavallinos" some years ago, so pardon my continued newbie status when it comes to Ferrari literature!

    Thanks
    -Chris

Chris - that would be fascinating if you could post up a few scans / pics of interesting adverts or other bits and pieces. It will be enough motivation to get the old flux capacitator operational again ...

With pleasure, Dave! Like I said, I honestly think this publication has much more of a sentimental value than it does a monetary value. I'll cross reference what years/issues I have and post back.

If people were interested, I'd be more than happy to make scans of particular pages. If we have anyone that joined the FCA around this time and might have missed the issue when their membership was announced or they were featured or had a listing, it might be neat to have as a souvenir.

Let me know if there's any interest!
