Maybe if a few other members made the same request? After all, what’s to hide?
Not even I am stupid enough to post that on here! Ask Karen. She's expecting information any second now. Vote 1: Ian
So, how is everything bubbling along at the Labor/Liberal pre-selection , back-stabbing event ? Stupid me thought this was a car club
You're overthinking it. Car club or BHP, people need to act honestly and honourably. If you take on the job, do it properly and to the best of your ability. You don't care about the FCA? Fine...but some people do. Vote 1: Ian B
I'm not going to discuss past events, but I think it's becoming apparent to many members that change is needed. Members should not need to be involved in the minutia of the club's administration. They elect committee members who they trust to place the club's best interests first in every situation. However when misbehaviour occurs, members have no access to information. Committee minutes are kept secret and everyone peripherally involved prefers to avoid confrontation. The solution is simple, committee minutes should be posted to a secure server for members' access. All details of committee members travel expense reimbursement (and that of their spouses) should be reported. Any transactions involving companies related to committee members disclosed and any gift or trophy received from Ferrari (or other partners) declared within 30 days of its receipt. You may think this overkill, but we should accept nothing less than immaculate and accountable behaviour from our elected officials.
I agree, there seems to have been a lack of transparency, and I think a lot of the club after the way I was treated by so many members following my accident 15 years ago, so if there has been some dishonest or unscrupulous behaviour then why aren't we informed of such dealings ? I put my faith in the committee members I know
100% right! Voting for Ian will be the best thing you could do for the fca, and Ian will be the best thing to happen to the club since MR and WK.
Somebody needs to talk about the elephant in the room. What about the tie up between Demarco and Grahame? I personally experienced what it was like with Demarco on the committee last time he was Vic Pres. How he was allowed back in to hold office again is beyond my comprehension after the things he did last time, even if no one else put their hand up for the job. He should have been forbidden. Why did Demarco send that email to the Vic members pushing for Grahame? Is Grahame grooming Demarco to be the National President in two years (or vice versa lol)? I don't have a good sense of smell, but even *I* can smell a rat and long term disaster. The whole thing is underhanded and undermines the good work done by the other committee members, both nationally and at State level. I saw through Demarco and his games in 10 mins last time he was on the committee....it took some of the others a bit longer. Have a guess how many Vic committee members stayed on this year. He and Grahame are good mates, and I can see why. Vote for Ian B if you care in the slightest for the long term good of the Ferrari Club Australia!!
