Yea, we cancelled our reservation. Oh well, I have a FF now, maybe we'll go up in Jan or Feb. We've gone to Quebec Old Town a couple times in December, but not in a Ferrari. We don't ski anymore, but I saw they have other fun activities at the ice hotel.
A few snaps from our drive and lunch at la Bullerie this last Sunday. Thank you to good people at Ferrari Quebec for letting us gather in the morning on their grounds. About 30 cars and almost 100 people....it can be qualified as a success. thank you to all of the participants and organizers.
Part 1 / A few snaps from our outing last Sunday. With Quebec sugar shacks taking a financial hit because of the pandemic, it was nice to see so many members and friends participating and also dropping good money into the local economy. Thank you all!!! A big thank you to all of the participants, organizers and volunteers of our FCA Quebec "Come Together" party. With 100 cars on site and (just north) of 200 people in attendance, we can safely claim that this event was a surprising success. Last week the club received a request from one of our benefactors, to fulfill a wish of a young man who was in the terminal stages of a very lengthy and tiresome battle with cancer. His wish, he wanted to go for a ride in a Ferrari. Within a few days, our chapter president Joe Renda stepped up to the plate, and with the help of a few close members and dedicated sponsors at FanaboxGP, Automobiles Etcetera, Ferrari Quebec & JR Auto Montreal, he was able to organize the ride of a lifetime for this young man. Capping this ride was a visit to shops and showroom of Automobiles Etcetera . Suffice to say that this young man and his family were overcome with emotion and gratitude, and they will not forget this day. EDIT: This young man took his last breaths on November the 18, 2020. 3 days after his memorable ride with us.
