    The FCA has recently begun to offer an "alternate" experience each year that is smaller in scale than the "annual experience" but meant to attract national participation. Here is the informational flyer that was sent out over the weekend announcing the 2024 event:

    for those that may want to take the scenic drive down from the north, hwy 1 is closed just past Big Sur. and there is no detour.
