I'd love to participate, but the Boxer is in Dallas.....and Ft. Worth.....and HEB......until she's all back together. I don't think a couple of Germans would quite fit-in. :(

They also need periodic unscheduled maintenance! :)

I'm foolish enough to still hold out hope that I can make it, but if I did it would be with a German. I don't think it would have trouble keeping up though, at least with the Maser.

what, you can only compete if you handicap your car to 60 mph and make me go to 100 kph? :D

Even if we're equal to 60, do you want to talk ratio of 63's to GranSports? Want to talk top speed? Want to talk cornering ability?

Want to talk parking lot donuts? Oh wait, you have me beat there. ;)

Your MB isn't an AMG is it?

Are you racing to the closed restaurant, Rob?

yes, I can't help it when Mia says "go faster daddy, go faster". If Jim is in front of me I will give him a love tap. If he's behind me I will give my famous left foot false break check and go maneuver. If it comes to it I might have to do some 2 off shoulder passes or if I can't accelerate Jim I will just have to go 180 MPH, because I know he can't go that fast. Rubbin is Rallying… or is that Racing? :D;):D

Looks like I better have good directions... my 182 HP 0 Torque BMW will be left far in the dust... but on the upside the restaurant should be open when I get there.

trust me, your light low HP BMW will eat up the heavy Ferraris on these roads, much less a German U-boat. ;)

these runs are pretty tame, with all the other traffic and cyclists a country tour is more the call of the day.

If you watch my video, that is about as hard as I drive it and the 328 handles much better than the GranSport.

I believe we have a winner. Though if Mia is with him, the gap may narrow!

Yup, I can't go that fast. Stupid electronic speed limiter! At least I'll be comfortable sipping my latte.

I just hope mine's back together by the spring/summer GTGs, much less the Toy Run!!

There's one old-time Fchat member looking for a co-pilot slot, if you have an open seat and don't mind a passenger, PM me for details.

Don mentioned that there might be a few more, details still unknown.

The weather looks great for this weekend.

    FYI for post rally activities...

If you like art, crowds, live music, crowds, beer, and crowds then it is fun. Rippes and Holays are thinking about it.

I contacted Jerry with Speciality Carriers and they will be on call in the event an unscheduled problem arises.
It indeed looks like very good weather and it will be a great run.
Remember we all need to be at the start location by about 8:30 to sign a waiver and do a little socializing.
I also need to talk to Tim about renewing his FCA membership:)

Trying to get a friend with a freshly restored 308GTS to go. It's having "issues", though, and he's not sure if it'll be back by then.

I may be jumping in with the SL, in the Boxer's absence. Looks like a good day for a, well, topless drive......wonder if that will work on any of the nearby TCU girls? :D

A speeding ticket, a flat tire, and Dryhole running out of gas. Sounds like a Ferrari run to me!

Sorry I missed it. The good news is, my kids team won his 7 on 7 football tournament and has qualified for the state tourney!

As promised, here's the route instructions.

There's actually a more interesting way to get to Godley and the start of the fun stuff, but I always like to have the freeway segment first to allow sorting.

Take a look at Bryant Irvin south and east of the lake, and Old Granbury Road.
