Anyone planning on attending the Summit Point event. I believe it's Oct. 16 &17.
We are coming up to watch on Saturday. Don't know if I'll drive 355, Viper or Z06 up there. My wife will probably come up in her Corvette Convertable with our daughter.
Going to try to make it up there, have been invited for a couple of rides, cant wait!! Now I just need a helmet.... Anyone know whats going to be there, any idea about the turnout?
usually have 60 or more cars, mostly 80's and later, with a few older ones showing up. Allie usually has his F40. several challenge versions and an occasional open wheel formula car. many people also bring non-ferrari's as well. it all makes for a fun day at the track.
I might go on Sat morning before the Rockville Car Show. BluDevil, if I go and you know that I'm there, *don't* say hi. That would be too normal! LS
I really want to go but I dont have a car to track.....Maybe I was thinking I could take the Vespa around the track Antony
THE COMPANY CAR?!?!?!?!?! Honestly David I dont think summit point takes Metro Cards or Tokens; maybe ill look into it antony
Hey Lash, I still have your cell #. I'll give you a call when I get there Sat. Maybe I can meet up with ya. Finally!
Give me a ring, I may head out there. I'll be in Rockville later in the afternoon for sure though. LS
Hey, Lash, Get out to the track and bag the Rockville pimpfest! We can take hot laps in the X1/9 I have been working on. 3.6 cup car engine, light flywheel, short gears, Hoosier slicks. She's built to roll . . . . right over in the chute coming into 5! Later, Mad Max Pappis
Is it ok to just come up and watch? If so one of my Pantera buddies will be up that Saturday, so we may drive out and watch the action. Scott '85 308 GTSI '71 Detomaso Pantera (getting re-painted but will be home soon)
Yep, no problem just spectating. Plenty of parking and areas from which to watch the action on the track.
Ill probably be there, for like the 3rd time in the past 2 months. Anybody wanna hook me up with a ride in an fcar?
