Krause & England is hosting the FCA & friends at a tech session on general maintenance and track preparation in their Raleigh shop at 10AM Saturday (25March). Everyone from track virgins to junkies will benefit from this session. From there, we'll make our way to Vespa Ristorante in Cary to praise Peter for his intimate Ferrari/VIR knowledge. If you're going to drive eastbound down I-40/85, PM me to hook up with a carvan.

    Bob,

Do we need to make our own reservations at Vespa or do we need to tell you?

Any one coming from the Cary area? I've got a mini-group driving the back roads up to K&E and was seeing if anyone else wanted to join. I've already talked to Matt and Bob, I'm not sure if there is anyone else from this side of town.

    From Durham and points west
    Take I-85 through Durham
    Head east on US 70
    Go through I-540 intersection
Turn Left on Ebenezer Church Rd. at CarMax (traffic light)
Turn Left on Barefoot Industrial Rd. (second left - no light)
Krause & England is in the second building on the left
Lots of wicked cars stashed everywhere

Here are some pics from today. Thanks to Peter for hosting our small group. The tech session was very informative. To have Peter Krause and Tom Jones leading a discussion and then the input from everyone else present, it helped to clear up some misconceptions and provide for a great discussion. The best part was seeing Peter run all over the shop to find parts that he had lying around to demonstrate everything we were talking about. We talked about some sort of transaxle failure on a 348 and what do you know, Peter has a shaft with the failure sitting in a cabinet. I don't have any pictures of lunch, but it was also very enjoyable. The ride over was a bit wet and a bit muddy (sorry about the clean wheels Lou ;) ). Good food and good times. I must say that I have enjoyed my first FCA event away from VIR and I look forward to more. Thanks to Bob Snow as well. Enjoy.
