330's are in demand, 2 or 4 headlight and the price differential is minimal, its a matter of finding a complete one. 365GT2+2 (Queen Mary) will be the next sleeper "affordable" V12 Ferrari IMO. But neither of them are sports cars.

308's were all well used in the 80's, I drove mine to work every day! If you could find a genuine car like you're describing, you'll pay 85K for it. btw 308's have lots of rust issues (glass cars too) in places where repair is very expensive, eg. base of A pillar.

    I sold my nice carby 308 for 85K in 1988 not long after buying a 246 for 45K and a 365GT for 70. <sigh> those were the days! :)

Les Miller's daughter has recently bought a 365GT from Perth for a figure higher than that Ian,but still in 5 figures. We bought ours 9 years ago for much less than that, so any price rise is a bonus! Loss of 365 means that Grant could get Millard's 308 though, but I bet he's still ruing the loss of 4 cyl along the way, not to mention the spacious cabin and good luggage space :)

Agree, he will miss his 365. There's very little that can match the sense of "occasion" as an early 12. A 365GT turns you into a drift hero on the track too, very easy to hang the tail out and keep it there, even if you're not going all that quickly around the corner!
