LOL....I just re-read the email I sent out to some of my FCA vic friends about this particular issue. I sure didn't pull any punches. Oh well....like it or not, I have truth and honesty on my side, and plenty of people to back up the facts. It also got the result I wanted and the club needed, which is awesome. Thanks to everyone who responded....and all positively.

Sure is. It's one club australia wide, but then there are the state committees. just join the main club and they'll give details.
Excellent. I'll check it out. Now I have something to do today! Presumably they have the occasional track day at Mallalla or something? I managed to get the whole track to myself and one other guy one day in the 90's with the bike I had at the time. Great fun.
Yes I only managed two laps before calling it a day. Around 10 minutes was my best time, which is not bad. Right, looking at the website it seems I need to contact the national secretary first. And then be endorsed by someone in SA. Presumably there's no point in Tamara getting the spouse membership. She would want to come along to some events, but certainly wouldn't drive on runs / track days etc.
there are a few FCA members in SA who could vouch for you ....... can you prove you have a Ferrari ? You could call WRXMIKE on here , he has nothing to do
Yes, shouldn't be too difficult... I can probably photoshop something that looks like me standing near a Ferrari... I'll get in touch with the national secretary and then if I need someone to vouch for me I'll start the ring around. Thanks!
Apologies for once again not being able to meet some of you clowns tonight. Wife is at a parent teacher meeting. I was going to tag along with my son, but he is sick. And my other daughter would be left home alone. Have to be next time. I have already voted for my favourite old time drummer boy.
someone rolled up with a Diablo. who the hell notices Ferraris when that thing's parked there. anyway...awesome night. some guy made ****** of himself by trying to start an argument about something, but he was so misinformed that he just ended up looking stupid. I think he was set up, cos this particular guy actually ISN'T stupid, so whoever worded him up obviously didn't have a clue or did it on purpose. He was given all sorts of wrong info....sort of amusing, really. Anyway...the ugly politics that crept in for 15 mins is done away with, and it's back to one big happy family.
So you boys all gave each other a big group hug. Sorry I couldn't be there for the bonding session. I must say that after just joining the club and receiving all the paraphenalia, I am quite impressed at the effort that is put in to producing the publications etc.
