    Even now having been here a while I still find it amazing how a pretty normal guy like myself, very much working class is able via the site to engage in conversation with some very successful/ well known people, who have managed to collect many of the finer things in life.

    It is superb that such busy guys will reply to questions regarding the marque and often random associated things as well.

    The only users I have found to be up themselves at times are typically non owners!

    It does go against the common misconception about Ferrari owners.

    Sure there are some pedantic buggers as well, but it is great to read/have a proper debate and hear all sides, long may it continue :)

    a little off topic but related.
    the good thing about america, from the perspective of an immigrant, is that, to some degree, you usually can't tell who's 100x wealthier or who's more authoritative just by "looking at" 2 person's conversation. By hearing their conversation you might be able to tell.

    The nice thing about chat rooms like this is you can actually get an idea what a persons personality is like yet also appreciate by what is said if they know what they're talking about.

    Disclaimer: I'm so full of it it's not funny. :)

    Actually kind of interesting but it is more egalitarian than the bar I was in last night. All the people pretending to be more than they actually are. Big ego, little net worth. Thinking that is what matters. It doesn't. Being an interesting person to talk to... that's what really matters and builds friendships IMHO. And that comes across here. I've met FChat users in real life and they're great people.

    I came over to California last year for a roadtrip along the coast from Frisco to LA, and was provided with some fantastic hospitality by two Fchatters as I passed by there way, had never even spoken to them other than messages on here before we met in person.
