OK. I have negotiated a deal for a Pristine 00 346 Red/Tan. F1. Capristo Exhaust. 12500miles. $134K with 2 year Extended Ferrari {powertrain} Warantee. Car is via Dealer, and is in showroom condition. New Tires, Brakes, etc.

    Is this a good deal?

    I am patient...

Have you had a PPI done? I can understand the new tires at 12.5K miles but the need for brakes... Have you called and tried to negotiate for other 360's and if so what were the bottom price points.
To me the price seems a little rich but I can only compare it to my sale of my prior 01 360 7.5K mile manual transmission perfect car (April 05).
The price seems to fade with time especially if it is just you had in mind for a sports car and it produces memorable drivies.informed.
Good Luck and keep us all

What other colors can you get? I dont think the green will have good resale value. IMO...

If i were you...even though it might be the furthest thing from your mind!!! After the first few months of Ferrari ownership the bug bites!!! and bites hard! the thought of the next great Ferrari in your garage is all consuming. You may now have the perfect opportunity to secure that car. It wont cost you anything to try to negotiate it into your deal, and believe me in a year or two when you decide you may want that new model, you wont stand a chance of going into your dealer and buying it. TRUST ME!!!

If the price is $10k high, how much of that do you consider for the extended warranty? I was under the impression that the warranty could be several thousand in itself.

Try to buy privately - Not withstanding color or transmission preference, i sold a pristine 1999 360 F-1- Tubi Exhaust, Challenge Grill, Daytona's etc. around $24,000 less. Some on this board saw it and can attest to my statement.

Also, the price they are charging will not get you in line to pay MSRP for any other Ferrari down the road.

It sounds a little high to me. I sold my '02 360 w/17,500 miles, belt service, turned all rotors, new brake pads, new Potenza SO2A tires, c/f engine compartment, c/f air intakes, BBS wheels, rear challenge grill, electric daytona seats, Keith Collin floor mats, K40 radar detector and laser diffusers for not that much more than the car your looking at. Though mine wasn't red, maybe that's the difference. ;)

When I was shopping, there was certainly a premium for red/tan.

I think the car is 5k too high. I would think that 10k lower is also reasonable however, I'm not sure how much the extra warranty is worth.

Thanks for the comments. I am still thinking about this deal. I am patient - and would like to find a Black 360 with Manual Shift. Regarding MSRP, I never buy a new car - always a year or 2 (in this case 7) old. You guys rock with your help!

Warranty should be worth about $3.5K.
