At the risk of asking a dumb question, what do you mean by "done the panel lines"?

You can paint the panel lines on a model to make it look more realistic. The reason I did it on that car was not for realism though as it was black. I got some white residue in the panel lines when I was polishing the body with micromesh and it wouldn't wash out. I had to paint over it with black.

    Good tutorial here http://italianhorses.net/Tutorials/Panelines/panels.htm

My kid's have moved out, still not enough room!
The kit is by Modellismo Leonardo possibly out of production.

As with most large resin kits the quality is not great.
By the way admire your collection.

Ive got one which I have been working on recently. Its not as good quality as Tamiya or Revell but with a little extra work should build into a half decent model.

Ah, what exactly are the issues with it? I've managed to find a Tamiya F40 for roughly the same price but I think I like the 348 a little more.

Nothing too major specifically, Ive only built about 6 models in total but this is my first Hasegawa and doesn't seem to be up to the quality of Tamiya or Fujimi. The body and a few other parts aren't as well molded and some parts require a bit of work to get them to fit nicely.

I'm by no means a real modeler but I do like to sometimes upgrade a model. Some time ago I bought a 1/18 312 P Berlinetta. While working on it I got the impression that it might have been a prototype of the model. It's quite crude and not completely finished when I bought it.

I bought it in plain red but I managed to get a great decal set from Scuderiamodelli (as an exeption). They are real decals, no slide-ons. Great quality.
I replaced the rear lights and before applying the rear lights of a Kyosho 365 GT/4 BB I painted the rear light pods black. I also painted the front wheel wells black (the rears were already black).

As said not much work but for me it makes the model complete.

I also did some work on a 1/18 scale 333SP (Hot Wheels). I saw the real version some time ago and it had the nicer wheels on it, so I searched the internet until I found the right ones for the model at legendeminiatures in France. The rear wheels weren't wide enough so they send two hoops to widen the wheels. After painting them it wasn't easy to get them on the model, especially the front ones. I managed to damage one of them :(
That put me off to further enhance the model by applying some paint here and there and by using the Tremonia upgrade kit. Maybe I'll do that later when I buy a replacement front wheel.

The model I'm most fond of is ths 1/18 scale Kyosho 308 GTB. It's exactly like my real 308! :) I used two Kyosho's for this, a 308 GTB vetroresina and a 308 GTB qv.

Taking a Kyosho apart isn't easy with hidden screws and a lot of tough glue applied by them. Also the paint was very hard to remove. Because I'm a lousy painter I asked Jacco from Challenge4fun to do the paint work. He is a great modeller. I supplied the original paint sample so it matches the real car perfectly.

I did the interior and detail paintwork myself (including dark blue carpet). Unfortunately assembling a Kyosho turned out just as hard for me so in the end I had to glue the doors shut so I can't show any good interior shots.

I finished it off by applying a copy of my license plate on the rear.

I can recommend all owners to do a model of your real one(s) if available. It allows me to look at my car without getting it out of the garage! I'm wondering though when I should replace the belts on the Kyosho? ;)
