    What are these "trophy points?"
    For some reason I was "awarded" a bunch of these by random people...confused about all this.

    It's worth the $15 to sign up for silver for a year ;)
    I have NO clue how I got awarded mine, or even who gave them to me.
    Also clueless how to award them to someone else.

    Do you know how many trophy points = a silver subscription? And how to apply them?
    I'm not allowed access to the link above.....

    I don't think any amount of trophy points equals a silver subscription.
    When F chat switched over to the new format trophy points appeared.
    I just got an "alert" one day that said I had been awarded a trophy point.
    So as I mentioned, I am clueless where they come from, and I do not believe they are of any monetary value.

    I had Silver and Rosso subscriptions for years before you ever joined FChat. ;)
    I see no value in it.

    You should see the value now. The Trophy Point thread is hilarious.

    Basically, when you reach a certain number of likes, you get some points. You don't get them awarded by specific people per se, but by the system. I also got some points when I got to a 1 like per 5 posts ratio. I'm not sure what all the criteria are, but there are lots. Your first post gets you a point, for example.

    Strange thing is those trophy points all were awarded by different users...just seems like an odd thing that adds no value, just questions.

    I like the "likes" system..I think it has the effect of making people behave a little more nicely to each other. Probably brings up the overall quality and "niceness" of the forum.

    It's not complicated: The user whose vote put you over the top for the points is credited in your notification stream.

    I created a lot of new trophies all at once. Some are based on like to post ratio, others on number of posts/media. For a while everyone had gotten all the trophies- all maxed at 140 points. They don't mean anything, I changed it up just for fun.
