Hi Vanimal Yes I am from the UK but I'm based in Switzerland so I wouldn't be along for a convoy from the UK. But I'm looking forward to meeting up with some sane people for the UK not like Trevi and Wolfgang Hopefully, fingers crossed, the 360 idea will work out for me. Trevoroony, August 27th is my anniversary - I think my wife would BONK me (and not in the good sense) if I chose to go driving off round Switzerland without her. She doesn't appreciate me driving the car like I suspect we would be driving around the alps, so probably not a great idea to bring her - shame as she would love it, apart from the speeeeeeeeeeeeeed! So the July date is best for me - cound do June but it is my parents anniversary and they may want to do something with us (all these anniversaries getting in the way of my Ferrari driving..shouldn't be allowed).
What about avoiding week-end days ? Unless you drive at dawn and dusk, you end up taking insane risks to pass camping cars and slow moving tourists. If we want some good driving, we need to count on week days. I might join, choosing between the 355 and the 550 will be a good problem to have Trevi - i am registering for a picture of your Daytona beside my Maranello
Trevi & Wolfgang wish i could but from late june to early september i wont be in europe. Its not confirmed yet but i think i'll be having a business law class in the US. I missed last year Modena motorsport event and now this I hope we'll have another Fchat europe meet so i can meet all you guys !
shark, that's a good point. on the other hand this may result in less participants, because of people not willing to spend day-offs for the rally. according to my experience, saturday is usually not bad concerning traffic, so an idea could be to do it on thursday/friday/saturday. sunday would then be reserved for the home travel and everybody could start work again on monday morning. what do you all think about it? btw: we have already more than 200 views on this thread, but only 7 voters so far! what's up guys???? it would be cool to have around 40-50 participants! trevi
