I just checked and it will be a 1000 km drive for me to get there. (983.7 km in ongeveer 9 uur en 15 minuten.) What I mean to say, I'm not sure if I can convince my mom and dad to let me drive all the way over there. If Roel is coming aswell, then it will be easier to arrange I guess, but I'll have to see. Until I get the final GO from my parents, keep me on a: "I'll probably be there" Bart PS. Are there any open spots to drive along on the Andermatt-->Andermatt drives ? Or is everyone bringing there wifes and family ?
Bart, come on its a max. 6 hours trip, please stay serious!!!!!! Its a MUST come & drive ask Rouel and I`m sure this wil be THE event of 2004! Trevi is a great & prefect organizer! """"...Or is everyone bringing there wifes and family...."""" Yes, I`m sure I will bring (if possible for her) my wife with me as usual on great drives. But she has the same passion - driving the red beast / no shopping or disco or bla, bla, bla! Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
The 9 hours is if we obey the speed limits, which we offcourse do That's just fantastic I don't mind if anyone brings family/wifes/etc. why should I. It's more because I don't want to drive behind a bunch of Ferrari's in a Golf through the beautifull mountains and passes. I'd rather drive along, selfish me. On the previous meeting it can together quit nice, we could drive along with Ton, Amar and Jens. Jens even offered that we could get his BMW Z3 if there wasn't enough room for us. But some people didn't show up, so there was no need for it. I'll keep you guys posted on what is going to happen. Bart
Bart, I am not sure yet how I am going to arrange this trip in my schedule. But if my right seat is empty you or Roel are very welcome to join me to Switzerland. Ton
Hi Gents, All dates are acceptable to my wife, and both of our diaries are clear. Debra will definitely be jhoining me on the ride. This will be an excellent trip methinks! Cheers, MARK
Mark, we are all sure THIS will be THE event of 2004!!!! And Trevi is working on a perfect organisation! Sorry, must leave the chat for today, time for the 5***** dinner, some red wine and all the holiday goodies coming later on our first evening here in Egypt;-)))) Will be back online tomorrow for another hour of fun. Keep on bonkering gents and we will stay in touch. We will tell you more tomorrow from this beautiful, sunny paradise. Yours Wolfarossa & Anja Greetings from Egypt
hi all i'll fix the date provisionary as suggested on august 19/20/21/22 (departure). the date is still provisionary in dependence of the date of the "ferrari racing days", there are rumours about this happening in august also, but there's nothing announced yet. thinking about making the rally as much fun and interesting as possible, i'm actually checking the chances to get a temporary closure of a pass road section to public in order to have a free road section for our pleasure. traffic laws will still be valid though, but on very twisty roads that's not too bad. it's going to be difficult, but i'll try my best. trevi
First post here. Don't have a car, but maybe I can get my father that cvrazy with his Panther. That would be great . I'll ask him, and let you guys know. Otherwise I need an empty passengers seat from the netherlands.
TreviJiemmyBonkerBrother, I` m so sad cause I miss my bonker brother;-( Seems like I` m always online when you are out for dinner? Hey whats up here its damn f*** boring.....going back to the sunny beach. @TREVI@ Forgot to mention: Thousands of good looking LATINAS are over here...damn what an awesome place. Trevi, to you its a PARADISE!!!!!! Wolfarossa & Anja Greetings from Egypt ...and sorry for hijacking your thread;-)

Yes - get some sun!!! Damn!!! You're worse than me!!! Hey - what about a Cairo to Cape F-Chat drive?? Cheers, MARK
Mark, In Cairo are living over 18 Million people but no Ferraris. I have googeled around and found some notes about a meeting in 2000 but without any story or pic. I would appreciate any recommendation about Ferrari drivers or dealers in Egypt or Cairo. I f somebody can advice me, it would be a pleasure for me to go there....any ideas? Wolfarossa & Anja Greetings from Egypt
seriously! do not hijack this thread, i need it for the organisation of our event and i don't want to loose control! behave!!!
sorry my dear friend and my deepest apologize.....and I know the feeling to loose control about my own started serious thread in the past;-)
Hi Trevi, what is the "status" of the event? I am planning to come from Holland with my gt4. Maybe a couple of my friends of the Dinogt4register will come too. Roel
hi roel as the organization just has begun, the status is relatively virgin what we know up to now: - the event WILL happen! - provisionary date (dependending on the date of "ferrari racing days" will be august 19/20/21 (22 for departure) - the location will most probably be in Andermatt, Switzerland (see pics and infos in this thread) i hope, we will be as many people and cars as possible and all fchat-members and other ferrari enthusiasts are very welcome and invited! i'll keep you posted in this thread about the progress and any other news and infos trevi
Trevmeister, This looks like it is shaping up to be the event of the millenium so far. If you can get a section of road closed, you will truly be 'de man'. Mark, when are you back in St Albans? There is a meet on Sunday which I am hoping to be at - we are away this weekend but hopefully I can arrange my return trip to coincide with the meet. Wolfarossa, when are you back to bonkering full time? I have been a poor bonkerer recently - too too busy with work stuff.
Hi everybody, by accident I've read this thread about a second FCHat-Meeting in Switzerland. Actually I'm very short in time because of annual accounts. Hey Wolferossa, i wish we could interchange the roles ;-). Whenever the trip will start I WILL JOIN THIS TRIP, TOO ;-) Yesterday R.F. has picked up my 328 GTS because of several faults. A truckdriver has pointed out that the left back wheel of my baby seems to be loosely but the wheel nuts where tied up. So it seems that wheel bearing is damaged ;-(. Furthermore there are some more oddments (Inspection, Oilservice, Brakes, clutch, etc) ;-) But actually the season has been finished so it does not hurt so much. I'm glad to see you all at the next FChat-Meeting in Switzerland. Wolfgang, Trevi - please keep taps on me. With red wishes Uwe Ricken
Ciao a tutti, I have been reading all the subjects on this board with a lot of enthusiasm and have to say that “I like it maybe a little bit too much”…. Recently something has changed with our computer system here at work and from that moment on there are no limits anymore in website-search…. Ferrarichat.com has always been classified under “entertainment”, something completely foolish if you know that I am working in the car-retail-industry. So, the borders are open now!!! Gents, the idea for a meeting next summer is great!!! Count me in, I would really like to meet all of you!! It’s good to do some thinking about it right now already, so the plan can bread a little bit. We gonna make it a top-event!! We can set up a central meeting point for all the people from Belgium and The Netherlands so that we can drive together to La Suisse!! We will see…. Regards, Joren
Hi Guys room on these for a Brit with a 360 Spider???? Carnt keep up with what is what , could someone recap on the Events?? Many thanks Stolen from Wolfgang >>> What the heck!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
