Alex, thats just normal and thats why we will meet us next week. Put some faces to the posts Its a wonderful community and I`m working here since the first day to meet everybody. We have had so many meetings & drive outs from and over ferrarichart.com members and its still growing. I always say: its not only a chat, we are real and we love to meet each other. I`m proud to say, that I know personal over 50% from the participants here. Thats also why I will fly in june for a 2 days trip to New York. I`m very proud and feel very honored to be invited from Jim a.k.a. Napolis and Bruce Wellington. We will attend the concours in Greenwich and we will have a dinner with some fchatters from the tri-states.
Wolfgang / Alex, As explained earlier, it would be an expensive trip (and almost 1,000 km and two ferry rides in just over a day) to get there, so I won't be coming by car. However, speaking with a friend of mine who has a private plane, it would be much cheaper for us to fly over. Just a thought a the moment...but just maybe! Alex - do you have any idea what is the nearest private airfield that can take international arrivals?? Cheers, MARK

The nearest public airports must be Eindhoven(NL) and Antwerpen/Deurne(B)... Don't worry about the distance to Overpelt...
@Joren, Mr. Organizer! whats about a convoy to pick up our dear friend Mark from U.K. from the airport. Instead of driving around the block in the afternoon????? Buddy, this would be a real pleasure and gent. Please try to organize something for Mark & Debs. I would love to do it myself but we will arrive late in the afternoon/evening and I will come with Anja - no more space in the car.

I'm sure that convoy won't be a big problem! That's why I said; don't worry about the distance Of course I can always be a airport/Overpelt shuttle-driver too... but it won't be with a Ferrari then Keep us informed...

Mark, The nearest airport is Maastricht-Aachen International Airport! I live 10 minutes from the airport. If you want I can pick you up. Just write me a PM or call me. Ton
The closest airport is Kleine Brogel (a NATO airbase) only 5km away But i don't think you may land your plane there or you have to have some friends in high places
I thought about that also, not to land a plane but to include in the drive (it's only 10 km from Joren) But it's not some place you can visit at random. BTW the Jaguar F1 team was doing their testing there last week
Yes, would be great to "test" some Ferrari's there! I've seen some pics of a few corners! Looks very nice! Love to see it for real, but like you said, it's very well closed and guarded. Are you serious about the F1 testing? Wow!
