Not sure where to put this ...........so I went off topic...... I suggest that [Mark Forums Read] under [User Controls] be moved down a bit. There have been times when I've hit this instead of [new posts] and guess what......all the new posts are gone. Wooops. Any chance of moving them so they are not right next to each other?
ERic very good point. I use the new posts feature all the time, and sometimes accidently hit the forums read. It really is frustrating, and then I just give up. Hopefully Rob will catch this thread, and make the necessary changes if possible. Hope all is well with you and the fam. -Ryan

OK, Isn't "New Posts" used more than anything else, so should be at the top? Isn't "Mark Forums Read" functionality used with "New Posts", so should be located with it? So shouldn't "Mark Forums Read" be directly under "New Posts" at the top?
Rob, I'm not questioning the logic. I'm just giving you the 'real world' story of what can happen. I think people will still see them if, for example [MARK FORUMS READ] was moved down a bit.
You can move it one notch down, like after open buddy list, so some of us don't accidently hit that button when we don't intend to.
So more complaints (2 or 3?) from those mouse clicker challenged or by X # of users who have what they're use to moved? Can you provide more evidence of the mouse clickerly challenged?
Rob, I don't think a huge number of users even use those services. Thus looking for high number of complaints or suggestions before you decide to change, won't help. IMHO of course. I don't think all of us are "mouse clikerly challenged." Sometimes, I pull up the menu, and am doing something else at the same time, and just click the lower one by accident. When there is so much going on, its hard to be focused on the exact mm area of space I need to click. If there was a bit more gap, I think it would be easier for us to use. I mean having the board user friendly goes a long way. At the end of the day, it was just a suggestion by Eric, and I agree with him. It is your board, and you should do what you see fit. No I said he was on a stroll today........ Rob, First, I didn't say complaint....I said suggestion. Second, if [MARK FORUMS READ] was moved down just one spot then by mistake you might hit [OPEN BUDDY LIST]. Now that's no problem because it hasn't removed the new posts flag. Think about it. I'd start a poll....but I can't, now.
