    Well, I've always wanted to be there for the Grand Prix weekend, so I did it, I just booked my flight today.

    So two things....

    #1: I'd really like to meet some fellow Fchatters while I'm in town so please be in touch. Is anyone organizing anything social? If so I'd love to be part of it. I always enjoy the Fchat gatherings at the Canadian GP and elsewhere here in North America.

    and

    #2: I've never even been to Europe, so I'm pretty much going to be helpless. ;-) My travel companion has family in Paris and speaks some French, but, alas, not much English (long story)... Anyway, I'm always up for an adventure. Please don't hesitate to make suggestions. I'm just starting to research some of the details. The current plan is to stay in Nice and take a train ...boat?) ... --well at least I'm pretty sure I won't be able to take a helicopter!

    I live in Nice ...
    The best way to go in Monaco is :
    -train >> 6-7€ ... (around 15€ way/back)
    -bus >> 1€ (so 2€ w/b ...)
    -Taxi >> More than 50-60€ !!! (or more ? :D )
    -Helicopter >> I've heard 85€ !

    You've got all the possibilties ! ;)
    i'll be there on Tuesday for the essai ... and friday for my annual travel in the town, looking for supercars everywhere in the principality ! :D

    Hey All-

    Seeing all the pictures from the historic event has me charged up. The Monaco Grand Prix is fast upon us... I leave for Monaco in only 8 days!!

    I also just received official permission to tour the Ferrari factory, the day after the GP.

    Anyone who hasn't connected with me and would still like to get together with other Fchatters before, after, or during the race, please send me your contact info, I would love to meet you.
