Hello fellow Fchatters. I have a dear former neighbor that is now living the retired life in West Palm Beach area (Singer Island). He is looking to find other Ferrari owners in the area to hang out, to go driving, to get referrals for mechanics and DIY his 355 Spider. Are there fchat gatherings in the WPB area? Are there regular driving events? Are there cars and coffees events for fchat drivers? How would he be able to reach out? Any ideas?

Not a whole lot happening in SoFla this time of year but when the weather gets better, things start picking up. Two events in December which will introduce your friend to a large number of local enthusiasts includes the Palm Beach Concours happening December 8-10. This event is put on by Sidney Vallon, notably from Palm Beach Classics, a vintage Mercedes-Benz restoration and sales shop. https://www.palmbeachconcours.com/ Also, there is the Toy Rally leading up to Christmas where your friend will see more exotics in one place than perhaps any other. This is run by Fred Burton, long time F-Chat member and major enthusiast. Fred has been doing the Toy Rally now for many years and gets literally hundreds of participants lined up in their exotics mainly through Broward County and culminating at the Goodyear blimp hangar in Pompano Beach and is a fund raiser for the Toys For Tots charity. http://www.toyrally.com/ The New Year kicks off with Cavallino which is the highlight of the Ferrari community in Palm Beach followed by other concours throughout SoFla, mainly Miami Concours at the Design District and Moda Miami at the Biltmore in Coral Gables along with races at Daytona, Sebring and St. Petersburg. We're also discussing having an open-house type event at Curated in December to introduce all the new faces which have joined the team in recent months. Your friend might like the Cavallino Classic held on PB Island, but this won't be until next January. In the meantime there is Cars and Coffee Palm Beach. Their next show is at the Wellington Green Mall in September. They just had one last month at Mizner Park in Boca. There are a lot of Ferraris there of all vintages. There are also a lot Bugattis Lambos and crazy exotics. We just sold our F8 (money offered was just too good), but have two others on order. We will take our Gone in 60 Seconds ALL Carbon Fiber 1967 Shelby to it and or our Mercedes-AMG GTR Black Series. I know this is Ferrari site, but have been a fan since I watched CHiPs and Leaf Garret was driving a Dino 246 GT and I was in love. What a work of art. There are a lot of exclusive car shows and I am working on developing a special one myself, since I am disabled and very limited. Enjoy.
Exactly!!!! They have something going on it seems just about every week. Even thru summer they have events. No need to wait till fall or drive down south.
Definitely join FCA. Went to a bowling event in Boca that was joint Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale and had a great time meeting people.
