    NOPE!!!

STRAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY TO ME, STILL IN IT'S ORIGINAL WRAPPER.

NO STOPS, NO ACCIDENTS, NO NOTHING.

Although runor has it the Enzo himself may have once used the mug to hold his purple pens on his desk at the factory.

It is a low mileage original. :D

So first the S/N is 00001 and now it's 0846? If you have the original build sheets for the mug, maybe this would help to clear up the issue?

I am currently interviewing the supervisor of the production line, Huang Zhang, who said to me "Much thank you for preserving history of uncommon drinking vessel." I am also taking detailed pictures of the shipping box and bubble wrap that the mug came in.

Let me remind all of you that when I first recieved the mug, it was what I thought to be just a very nice mug. Only later have I learned that it may be something very special indeed...

Soon I will email my friends a PDF document that I feel will answer all questions...

Unfortunately 0001 has limited race experience. This rare photo shows Enzo's son, Dino, holding mug 0001 before a race.

Rumor has it that Dino remarked to Enzo, "Hey Pop,(he called him "Pop") can we fashion some kind of holder in our cars for this mug? It would be nice to take a drink now and again while driving."

Thus, the cupholder concept, now in almost every car on the planet, was born.

(As an historical footnote, because Enzo felt cars were for driving, not drinking in, he told Dino "F--- no, and get back to work".)

If you fill it with water, it's a-ok.

On the other hand, if you put 10W-40 Dino oil in it, it leaks like a *****.
