A few of us attended the Italia Unita festival in East Boston last month for a taste of Italy. It was great fun, with good food and hanging out.

Well, this weekend is the Feast of St. Anthony in the North End of Boston, with over 250,000 attendees expected over the course of the weekend!

This is a giant traditional Italian street festival. In addition to the food, baked goods, live music, and so much more, they're having a parking corral of Ferraris! Imagine parking with your fellow Ferraristi, strolling down Hanover St., enjoying an arancini or canolli, watching the parade, and just hanging out.

Due to a couple of last minute cancellations, there is room for a couple more Ferraris this SUNDAY, starting at 3 pm and running until you're stuffed with arancini and oysters and have to go home. Because there is only space for a very limited number of Ferraris, so please let me know if you're interested in joining the fun. I know that Mark will have the Lambo there on Sunday, so come and hang out.

Holy cow, that was fun today (the first of the two days that we're invited to participate). We had 10 cars, including Tom's black 328, Peter R.'s brand new Stradale, Frank M's 355, Peyman's 355 Spider, Chuck C's yellow 355B, John P's 512 BBi, Tom L's gorgeous Lusso, a blue Maserati Spyder (MoNE) and the nicest 612 I've ever seen, all in black with all the options (FoNE). We had some GREAT food and wine, strolled around, and enjoyed some unbelievable coffee drinks, hot chocolate (yeah, it was delicious even though it's August) and fruit granitas at Frank's Black Tie Espresso stand. Also chatted with Ron Frohock, who came by to say hello.

Lots of people checking out the cars, and plenty of great, um, scenery. Good time.

(just got another cancellation for tomorrow, a member now needs to help his son move stuff to his dorm room, so if you're interested, let me know!)

Had a great time on Saturday! The cars, food and people were great. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was terrific to see our car parked between Tom's gorgeous Lusso and John's beautiful Boxer. Thanks to Theresa and Dennis!
