How is their service dept? Fast, reliable, competent?
I was visiting Montreal during the 2002 GP and my 84 308 died in downtown Montreal on the way to a Ferrari Quebec party. Well my wife and I ended up arriving in a flatbed truck. The staff of Ferrari Quebec were fantastic! Made us feel very welcomed and first thing Monday morning they had the car up and running. Paul Darling was the Service Director and was fantastic. Overall a very good experience!!!
ps Tel: Ferrari Quebec - 514 337 7274
Hope this helps
Where is this Ferrari of Quebec party? Do they do it each year at the same place and is this right after the Canadian GP on sunday?
Thanks in advance for your help.
The official party is usually before the race. Must be a member of FCA to go and it's not cheap. I haven't attended one yet, maybe this year.
J define not cheap ?? How do we or I get on board? Any numbers? Let me know.
P.S.. hows the car coming along ??? Weather is warming up.
The party is held at the dealer on the friday before the GP. Last year it was held for the challenge drivers and I believe that Jean Todt was in attendance(not sure I couldn't make it). You need to be a FCA member and if memory serves me right it was $200.00 for the dinner.
What part of Montreal are you from?
I'm not really in Montreal but I live right beside..
Do you live in Montreal? And do you have a 512 TR?
I remember seing a red 512 TR two years ago at the Canadian GP weekend on St-Catherine's street.
Thanks for the infos on the FoQ party.
I live in Laval in the Fabreville area. My 512tr is a 1993 black on black. Which part of Laval are you from?
I never seen a 512 TR in Laval?! Wow!!
Do you drive it a lot? ( watch out for those holes on the streets)
I don't have many opportunities to drive it, but I try to attend as many FCA events as possible and of course GP weekend on downtown Peel street Thursday/Friday night and Little Italy Saturday.
Where do you attend school, maybe we know the same people. My children are students here in Laval.
College Letendre (Its my last year and then I'm off to cegep)
By the way I think I have a picture of your 512 TR.
I took this pic 3 or 4 years ago at Ferrari of Quebec.
(Sorry for the quality--I didn't have a great camera back then--)

I have been getting my car serviced at FoQ since they opened.
Great service, great support and great people.
They have done everything from brakes, electronic ignition enhancement, drop down gear replacement and synchro work. I should be bringing her in shortly to get the carbs re-done.
I have attended the Friday party/open house at the dealer the last 3 Grand-Prix's and have always had a great time.
No, this is not my car. This one sold two years ago to someone in the US.
