Looking at a Porsche Cabriolet there and was curious if anyone has had any experience with them, be it bad or good? Thanks! -Kenny [email protected]
Are you talking about Momentum Porsche? They are a factory dealership. ps I do know of a very nice C4 that will not mess up your hair doo....
Yep-- good reputation?? He's set on the Cabriolet-- Again, I'll give you 20k in cash for your coupe .
I know the sales mgr quite well. Would you like for me to see how firm he is on the price? As far as reputation, Momentum is a typical Porsche dealer. They move a lot of cars, but they are pretty sticky on price. The dealership just sold to one of the rollup groups, but this hasn't seemed to have any effect at the street level. All and all, I'd say that their rep is above average for a high-volume Porsche dealership. I'm sure that there have been some folks who were less than happy with the dealership. But, I wouldn't worry about getting ripped off like some of those Florida dealers that you hear about. (I'm not talking about you, Martin.) The car will be what they say it is, but you may not get the best deal in the world. Take care, Dale ps There are probably more P cars in the tri-state area than any place outside of California. You may look a little harder locally.
I concur with Dale. I bought my first Porsche there and actually got a pretty good deal, but my timing was really good (bought a new '01 car off the floor in October 2001). They are very nice guys. I've dealt with Craig Loy, Larry Ewert and Roger Gay. All first class guys.
