Night time at the dining/waterhole districts is the worst time and place to be if you don't live there, let alone visit in a highly-visible expensive sports car. I would be wary of strangers even under the most favourable conditions. Toronto has its share of social delinquents.

I haven't had any negative reactions from the public except from 2 middle-aged women who thought my Cali30 was too noisy. Good thing I wasn't in a 458 or Lambo.

I'm glad there appears to be no damage to your baby. Reserve it for the safe errands and drives in the countryside. Have you driven in the Orangeville area before? Wonderful country roads there and you don't need to break speed limits to enjoy them. I would take an "invisible" DD on risky risky errands and evenings out.

I am very fed up with those who feel they have some right to take or destroy property that does not belong to them. Whether it is the government or an individual the act is both wrong and criminal. Both of them will continue to do so as long as they think they can get away with it.

I know my actions are violent. But I also know my actions will likely save the offender's life (because a sicko will shoot him dead right there, one day) and prevent future damage to some else's car or other prized possession that the owner worked very hard to attain.

It is the final stage of parenting the perpetrator did not receive growing up.

It's not a good idea to assume that a man's an arrogant jerk just because he has a nice car. Yesterday, I was released from the hospital following my second surgery for resection of a pituitary tumor.

Believe me, the guy you kicked deserved what hapened to him, and most likely will think twice before being such an ignorant ass again. One of the main problems with using labels to catagorize people is that there are always exceptions which of course will be used to prove you wrong and divert attention from the wrong committed.

In my experience the perpetrators have a sense of entitlement for whatever reason. Between lazy parents with little or no disciple and politicians promising something for nothing we have a country with more and more people that do not respect others property or others rights...just their own. If 5% have this attitude it can ruin things for everyone.

I try to kill them with kindness but am not always successful. Sigh.

I have had a couple of run in's..both being the environmental yo yo's that seem to think it's their god given right to tell me the car I'm driving is a pollution machine.

But when I tell them the car only gets driven on nice days in the summer and never gets driven in the winter, I ask who's car is polluting more? Blank face, etc. no answer. I even ask how many times they fill up with fuel vs how many times I fill up with fuel in this pollution machine..again..blank stare, no answer..

 

I live in Houston and I find people here really like exotic cars. Lots of folks want to take pictures, ask questions, etc. like others have said, I'm happy to accommodate then. Such a shame that some people resent other people's success. they seem to hate the very folks work hard, earn money and pay taxes that fund the entitlement programs that these resenters typically abuse.

 

I've seen that Santa hat push up guy around Toronto years ago. Sad story about him.

This is absolutely awesome. If more people did the same we'd have a whole lot less of the kind of idiocy the OP suffered.

 

My first question to those people is "Do you have kids?" The answer is always yes. I have none. I then point out that their children and the descendants from those children will abuse more of the earth's resources than I could ever manage with any of my vehicles. I also point out that we have an overpopulation problem anyway and that is the real issue facing the future of the planet. There's not more argument after that.
