It feels like Diablo month at MAcarbon. Last week we had the restoration on the SE30 console. (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/lamborghinichat-com-sponsored-cats-exotics/488719-diablo-se30-sv-center-console-refinishing.html) Next week we’ll announce availability of parts for the Diablo 6.0 with the special blue carbon. But this week we shipped out another interior for a 1999 Diablo. We did the cluster panel, center console, carbon air vents, and carbon door handles. These are all going in a Roadster. This order represented our 13th dash and 14th console since we started making them in 2004. I guess we average just about a sale a year. Not too bad for a one-year exotic car.

Does anyone know how many ‘99s were made? I had always thought it was one hundred but that apparently is the number of SVs. We were just curious what our penetration percentage was for the 99. It would have been cool if it was almost 15% but its obviously a bit smaller than that.

This was our 78th set of door handles… so maybe that percentage is pretty good!

For those interested in our Diablo interior products, you can see them here:

For the handles, we have them here: http://www.macarbon.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=248&Itemid=146&lang=en

    John,

Do you also make the handles in a 2x2 twill fiber, or just in the plain weave?

We can do them in the twill or plain. Its up to you. As hinted at above, we've even can now do them in the 6.0 twill with the blue thread.

Each set of handles is made to order so let us know which carbon weave you want when ordering.
