FELIPE TO LOTUS!!!! (speculation, not confirmed)

In case you didn't notice: Not only did Alonso out score Massa every season head to head, he finished ahead of him in nearly every race, out qualified him in almost every race, and even finished him ahead in almost every single practice session. Last year, Massa's average distance behind Alonso was 4 places.

Yet... it's Alonso who's the problem with Massa..... Right.

 

He WAS expensive . He's in a very weak negotiating position now. If I was in his shoes, I'd just move to a different series, like Webber is doing.

 

Misleading headline. You post it like it was announced. Why mislead people on purpose?

 

I heard this rumor yesterday while watching TV.

Yes what? Massa's record sucks next to Alonso? Then we agree.

If Massa was so great, he should be glued to Alonso's tailpipe the entire season. Unfortunately it's more like Alonso can't find how far Massa is to his rear without a GPS device.

 

I do not know nor do I care.

 

Why would they get rid of Lettuce boy? He's been doing relatively well this year and mostly kept out of trouble. And he brings 15 mil to the team they desperately need.

Slight correction to title made - we can edit it again to "confirmed" if the prediction holds true. It appears Massa and Lotus are talking, so we'll see what happens.

Yeah, I saw that. Should have given you credit for the idea, but I was so eager to type my own displeasure that I forgot to include yours. See that the mods have fixed it now.

 

I can see a Lotus deal only if Massa brings massive amounts of $ from his sponsors.

 

Or takes a huge compensation cut and/or doesn't mind getting paid late
