    I still am having trouble with my top I nerver paid attention to the cyl squence now I need to know when does the small top cylinders come in to play I think it is only when the top goes up, and they play no part as the top is going down, but I really need to know...if you have a working top on you 355 would you please be so kind as to check it and watch the cyl sequence and report back...thanks

    I know the answer to this, but have just been out to the garage to check for you.
    When you unlatch the top leaver and pull the roof back into the ready position. After the seats have gone forward, the upper/top cylinders pull the roof back the rest of the way so its in a vertical position above and in line with the rear of the seats .
    Then the bottom cylinders pull the roof in a downwards motion so its now behind the seats. Then the seats go back.

    Sam thanks, I havent been able to check this until today, your info was right on, my problem is the top CPU is not giving the switching valve a ground (-) so It will not switch in the upper cyls don't know why yet, but I will get there. Thanks again!
