Are this fender extensions delivered from Ferrari in 1977? Does this loock like it's from Ferrari? Are all fenders then in fiberglas? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi! The bi color turn signals indicate a Euro car if original. Bumpers will be tight to the body and constructed of fibreglass. A North American car will have solid amber turn/park lenses and bumpers are steel construction and extend further from the car on hydraulic pistons for additional crash protection, mandated by law. HTH!
That car has original side mirror, but is missing a wiper arm.. 1975- 1976 were fireglass bodies, 1976-77 were a mixture, 1977 are steel bodies.
I'm sorry ..........I misread your post! You are absoultely correct....something is very wrong with the fender lips on that car, it does appear to have extended flares, for wider tire wheel package perhaps...no telling what they are made of!
Yes, for wider tire wheel package . The seller say this is in fiberglas, but is it from the factory when the car was new?
I don't think so, not Factory. Many of these cars were rally raced back in the day, but this appears in street trim.
I don't think it's Factory either. As Bubba said, several were modified for rally racing years ago. Nice flares, though!
The owner say it's from it was new, but....... I don't know. The car is steel except for the fender flares and the spoiler in the front, are fiberglas.
