    Hi all:

I need to get my front fenders rolled on my 360 - anyone have any recommendations for someone that can do this in the Bay Area (preferable the South Bay/Peninsula)?

Just want to add that if you go that route, make sure you can retain your stock fender liners. I just purchased a vehicle that had the fenders rolled and was not able to keep the fender liners. The sound from gravel pinging everywhere in the wheel well along with the 3lbs of gravel I vacuumed out of each side make it a hard no for me. Now the only way to fix it is lots of body work and paint. This could potentially devalue your car a good bit down the road.

Anyway, I know you didn't ask for that advice, but just thought I'd mention it as it might not be something people have on their mind.

I'm not familiar with this term. What exactly does "rolled" mean for fenders?

Each fender has a flange that points inward for structure. "Rolling" the fenders means bending this flange upwards which allows for more room if one is running larger tires and the car is lowered. This prevents the tire from rubbing against the flange and being cut as the car turns. It's called rolling because it's typically done by rolling a wheel or cylinder along the tab, pressing it upwards with each roll.

Because the fender tab is typically used as an attachment point for fender liners or other parts, anything attached to them typically has to get removed. It's also very unlikely to get undone without body work.

Oh god - it has been a while since I checked the Nor Cal section since I moved to San Diego nearly a decade ago.

Reach out to my friend Shareef at SS Customs in RWC and please tell him Spencer sent you. https://sscamerica.com/ He brought in an outside contractor who did a great job on my 308gt4. Just know there is risk of warping or paint cracking the around the edge if it's too extreme a bend.
