I have frequently seen discussions about rolling fenders due to tire issues, and it seems there is never an easy answer.

Well yesterday in comes a catalog (I am on everyone's mailing list) from Eastwood.com. They sell unique automotive tools and supplies primarily body work oriented. That have many good items

There was an add for a fender roller!

So, if anyone is interested, see the link. It's on special for $249.99. Very interesting device especially since it bolts to the hub to keep the arc of the rolling concentric!

Not expensive for a few guys who want to do it.

We used that before and you have to be careful as the paint on the edges cracked. I was told that you must heat the paint so it flexes with the metal as you roll it.

I have been told that it does help to heat the area first to prevent paint cracking which makes sense.

I prefer this over the baseball bat method. :)

For the record, eclipse185 and I used the Baseball Bat method in conjunction with the Merlot method.

Yes but you can easily "strike out" with the baseball bat method or am I off "base" to say that!
