    My car has no Scuderia Emblems on fenders. Althought the fenders on my car are not ready to put the originals as from factory, i would like to put the emblems on. I found on ebay 2 types for completely different price. One is metal (propably same as original) for 360 eur, secon 3D plastic for 13 eur.... Any experience? Links are below. Will be ok to put it on if my car has standard fenders (not originaly ready from factory for the emblems)? Thanks Petr

    Plastic? You're kidding, right?

    There have been a number of discussions on this topic. Please use the search function (upper left) to find the detailed thread.

    There are thin, metal sheilds available which can be glued and look quite good... pictures and more information available in the thread mentioned above.

    Please don't put plastic shields on your car...

    on a related, definitely newbie note: why do some ferraris have the shields while others don't? are they factory options that some buyers chose and others didn't? or is there something else to it?

    They were an option here in the UK. £705 ($1400) was a bit steep though, hence why you don't see many with the factory shield.

    The shields are an option, and include the required indent in the fender...
