    Hi guys,

I'm new around here and have a question. I was wondering if someone could let me know when and where Ferrari meetings are held in Perth, as I have contacted someone at Barbagallo but they never respond for some reason.
I noticed that the president of the WA Ferrari club is on this forum so I hope he can help me out, as I would love to see more of these cars.

    Cheers

Here are a couple of Ferrari's I've seen in Perth over the past month:

    A 355:

and a 550 Maranello (couldn't believe my eyes):

There used to be a barchetta in perth too. Barbagello is not that great, I think the only reason they have the ferrari brand is for the image it gives the rest of their operations. I doubt they make any money off it, and it shows by the amount of effort put into looking after you. But they are probably doing a better job than Auto Classic did.

I haven't had much experience with them so I can't judge, but I've sent this guy three emails and haven't got a response to any of them.
This forum seems very quiet and not much is happening....does this president of the WA Ferrari club still visit? I sent him an email but haven't heard back yet.

you might do better to PM him thru this site.

personally, email is pretty much useless nowadays, before someone contacts me i have to stipulate what they have to write in the subject before it'll get through to me... or at least it was that bad before i changed ISP's.

with PM's on forums like this, you only ever recieve "emails" which have something to do with the forum you are on. nowadays any email account of mine that's more than a couple months old is set to auto-delete all messages.

Thanks ashsimmonds, I've sent him a PM...so lets hope that works. If not I'm running out of ideas....its meant to be the communication age but it seems harder than ever before to do so....LOL.

There still is a Barchetta in Perth.
Barbagallos are very serious about the Ferrari brand. You are obviously not aware of the support they give to owners and the Ferrari Club

    Hi wunwing
Things are going great. Did some great business in China, the whole Monterey thing was sensational - Gerry did a fabulous job with all the right tickets, all the info on where to go, when, lurks etc: Laguna Seca was the highlight for me - serious racing with some wonderful OHOS - NY & Washinton was good fun - herself go in some real retail therapy - UK was good but expensive - went to the Maranello Challenge at Castle Combe to watch them throw some 360's at the wall - then home via Tokyo. Back a week and then spent last week on the east coast - must love airplanes ! (not!)
I'll try to work out how to post some pics when I get a minute but the OZ perspective was probably pretty much the same as everyone else's - WOW!

    Keep Healing
    Best Regards
    JM

The best way to post pics IMO is to use the free image hosting site http://www.imageshack.us/index.php
Once you have uploaded the photos just use the URL provided and paste it in here.
Hope that helps, would love to see these pics.
