Looks ok, i just hate the sealed pipes, big wheels, & panel gaps. Got a red one & binned it it had so many defects.

Nice model. I like the fact that it has opening parts. I like the rear license plate that has 458 Italia. I like it in white color. However, I don't like the exhaust pipes. I don't like the wheels. They look too big on the car.

Actually because of a discussion about the model on another forum, I went and measured the wheels on the 1:1 and the wheels on the model are CORRECT. As with many Elite models (360, 360CHS...) the tires are weird. They are supposedly from a better material and more realistic, but their non-elite cousins are actually better. All that said, this model is actually more accurate and better than the BBR offering which is sealed for 5 times the price.
I just received my Alonso car and I am very happy with it. It looks great next to the other 3 colors in my collection.
Congrats on a great buy and don't let the diecast snobism get to you.

    hi guys
thanks for all the comments,if we keep comparing the models against the real thing,
you would never buy single model, because to get perfection hotwheels, bbr and all the other model makers would have to invest millions in there manufacturing, and they aint going
do that,so as long get them close enough to real thing i be happy.

Go buy a measuring tape. I did. And I measured them personally. The wheels on the model come to 23and a half inches. And guess how surprised you are going to be when you find out that from one outer edge to the other, the 20" wheels on the Italia will measure to 23 inches.
The wheels on the model are not too big, the rotors may be a touch too small, which combined with the weird tires create the illusion.
Either way, model for money it puts the BBR in its pocket.

No one needs a tape, it's plain to see c'mon. 95% of people who get the mattel agree the wheels are too big. No one even mentioned BBR...I dont really give a ****, the op was just asking what people think, & i said what i think. You must have shares in mattel to worry that much to go measure a 1:1 to compare to a mattel.

What makes it a "Fernando Alonso" model?

Excuse my ignorance in this matter.

    Cheers

Sorry to be a PITA, but you spelled some stuff wrong mate. Don't let the anger take you over man. Keep it friendly like everybody else on this forum :)

IF you are looking for the mistake, I was kind enough to correct it for you ;)

    +1 :D

It is the color scheme, the rims and most likely interior like FA owns it in 1:1 :)
Hopefully that helped you out :)

So back to the FRIENDLY OP

    I like it!!!!!

I'm sick and tired of this crap

from snobs complaining on Elite models
    I got the yellow 458

and also I had to measure the wheels and they were right

I love the model and feel sorry for those who have to pay 5 times or even more in order to feel snobish and can't even open it's doors

    having said that
I can't wait for the Elite release of the 250 SWB

which used to be available only thru CMC until now ....

Wheels look fine. The wheels on a real Italia look to big IMO. Nice model.
