Fernando Alonso to remain at McLaren for 2018

He says it's a long term deal. Racing should be fun to watch at the front of the grid next year if Renault closes the gap further.

And, again, McLaren doesn't run their own badged engines why?

If they fail, they blame Renault. If they're successful, Renault gets all the credit.

What is really in this for McLaren if they're in the same market place as Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz
is they're using Renault engines?

Maybe you've missed the last few years how difficult it is even for a large manufacturer like Renault or Honda to produce a reliable and competitive engine.

He's been racing for them for 3 years (and his second time at McLaren) and now they learn to speak Spanish? Stupid.

What I got out of it is McLaren has been sucking for years and they are more concerned about making a silly video about Alonso signing his contract (duh! Like everyone following F1 didn't already know?) than putting effort into their cars.

It makes them look frivolous when they should be looking serious
