    querido ferrarista español,

I just purchase a silver 328GTB in Belgium but the car was delivered new in Spain by the period Ferrari dealer F Serena in Barcelona and the first owner of this car was Fernando Serena himself until end of 1990.
I like know all about car I own and I would like to know more about the car of course but also about the owner and his history and/or history of that Barcelona dealer.

This 328GTB is in rare color combo of Silver ( Argento FER 101/C ) with Blu interior. I don't know if any other 328GTB have the same spec.

Some of you know or have some information or photo about the car, the man or the dealer at that time ?

    Gracias de antemano

That´s a very unusual combo indeed.

I´m not an expert in the subject. I know they operated since at least the mid 70s at the Avenida Diagonal (then Avenida del Generalísmo Franco) of Barcelona. They sold other brands of luxury cars and were the Morgan importer too.

Their moment of glory, as you probably know, came when they won the Spanish rally championship in 1984, with Antonio Zanini at the wheel of a 308 Group 4. They initially planed to build the car at their own workshop with parts bought from Michelotto, but they had to lease an already built unit (the "white Ferrari", as is known now) for the first part of the season because they couldn´t complete their own 308 in time. The Serena built car (the "red Ferrari") was eventually completed and raced in the last part of the season. It had an unique front lamp arrangement compared to the Michelotto built cars. It was also ocasionally raced by Fernando Serena´s son. Not long ago it was put up for auction. Note the F.Serena stickers in the sides and the big blue "dealership" plates of the era.

    Thank you @DeSoto

yes I found information with this 308 but not more until today. I don't know many about Ferrari in Spain at that time. It's look like not so many 328 were sold new there even Barcelona should had potential customer, no ?

Spain has never been an important market for Ferrari and in the days of Serena they were something really esoteric. I´d say the first relatively common Ferrari around here was the 348, and still many of the ones you see today were imported later. It´s not only a Ferrari thing, any "rare" car of that era sold new in Spain and keeping its original plates demands a premium.

My car stay in Spain until 2016 registered as B-8323-JM.
According record I have it was owned by five different owners in Barcelona and Alicante and was exported to Belgium ( even the Spanish registration was "available" until 2021 as a friend of mine told me ! )
