Ferrai 360 F1 Transmission help!

    I have a 2000 360 F1 that threw a rod. So I removed the engine and replaced it with a used engine. Now when I went to install the F1 to the engine everything went smoothly. But when I went to torque the axle bolts back on and went to unlock the e brake I noticed it seems to be in gear. Wondering if this is due to taking off all the hydraulic lines? Any help would be great thanks guys!

    Hmm, not sure how a drop in pressure would activate an actuator.. I imagine and will let others chime in, once you bleed the hydraulics and pull back on both paddles should be fine.. you're sure you put the seal in the oil return line between the engine and tranny in OK with no crimping..

    The o-ring went in good and I made sure it didn't move. The battery still has not been connected so nothing could have pressurized the system. I just want to confirm there is a method to get it in neutral so we can get it towed to the someone with a Sd2 to get the PIS. Thanks

    That's what I would do.. If it STILL gives you issues in extremis I imagine you can take the actuator assembly off and reset things. It's just solenoids that push the shift "forks" right? :)
