    Hi everyone,

A Finnish friend of mine is a keen model-maker, and has just finished creating a 1/24th scale 250GTE resin kit. This kit needs assembling, and some 'scratch-building', but nice to see someone has finally made a kit of this stunning car.

Tapani also has many other kits (including Alfa Romeo, Bentley, other Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Morris, Peugeot, Plymouth, Saab, Talbot, Triumph, VW, Volvo). He's a very talented guy, I have several of his kits.

    More described in his mailout:

    Gentlemen,

I just thought you might be interested in these new kits we now have available.
Excuse me for sending you photos of even one non-Italian car, but hey, it's still a Pininfarina design...

The Ferrari 250 GTE has parts for building a series 1-2 car. Use a Fujimi kit as donor.Price is 105Euros + postage.

The Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS Touring coupe is nearly complete curbside, where you will need to add windows and the suspension parts of your choice. I have test fitted curved windows made from sheet transparent plastic without any problems.
The kit price is 80Euros + postage.

And finally, the Peugeot 404 is also a nearly full curbside kit, that needs some suspension and detail parts added. Price: 80Euros + postage.

We now cast our tail lights in clear red resin when it is accurate.

As usual, these kits do not include wire wheels, tyres, or plating on parts. Plating is an issue some customers have asked us about. We see that plating the parts is a heavy process involving lot of careful time consuming work and thus putting pressure on rising our kit prices. We believe the decision on how to treat the shiny parts is better left for the builder. I hope you feel sympathy for our point here.

The attached Air-Trax list is out of date, missing at least these kits. If you know someone who also might be interested in our products, please feel free to forward this message!

    Best regards,
    Tapani Raurama
