ferrari 246s #0784

Hi all,
I was told a story a while back that an engine swap was done circa 1997 that involved #0784 getting its original 4cam engine back from Pierre Bardinon. Yesterday I was reading an old cavallino in which there was a piece written by the late David Clarke stating that the block that Bardinon had stamped #0784 was so badly damaged that it was beyond repair and safe use. Can any one shed any light as to what motor is actually in #0784 today?
